Pro 2 is more stable and responsive compared to the previous version. The previous version would hang, crash, and struggle to connect to my cameras on all of my past and present high-end Samsung cell phones. Pro 2 has none of these issues. It just works!

Am crest View Pro 1 stopped sending notifications, my android phone said "app does not send notifications" when it has for years. No settings adjustment in phone or app rectified this problem. Skeptical of Am crest View Pro 2 since it said it worked with newer cameras, mine are mostly old. Since you can have both apps on the same phone I decided to give it a try. Really glad that I did, all cameras work great, including push notifications. Easy to add cameras manually with serial numbers.

This is great when it works, which is rarely. It constantly drops connection with the cameras and watching playback is a roll of the dice whether it works or disconnects. Unreliable and frustrating to the extreme. Do better, Am crest!

When out of home, cameras would open momentarily and then close in error. Went back to Am crest view Pro 1.

Used am crest pro 1 for years and although not the best app it worked pretty good. Got new phone so installed am crest pro 2 and most time when you try to view your camera it will fail to connect.never could understand how app developers could take a working app and do a new and improved update on their app and make it worse.

The April 2025 update on the Am crest View Pro 2 app made the PTZ stop working. Has anyone else noticed this? (using on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G phone). When I press the PTZ button the direction arrows will not move the camera at all now. It worked in the app before the last update.
