Pro 2 is more stable and responsive compared to the previous version. The previous version would hang, crash, and struggle to connect to my cameras on all of my past and present high-end Samsung cell phones. Pro 2 has none of these issues. It just works!

Works as advertised but not remotely, so I use a VPN to get to my cameras.

Am crest View Pro 1 stopped sending notifications, my android phone said "app does not send notifications" when it has for years. No settings adjustment in phone or app rectified this problem. Skeptical of Am crest View Pro 2 since it said it worked with newer cameras, mine are mostly old. Since you can have both apps on the same phone I decided to give it a try. Really glad that I did, all cameras work great, including push notifications. Easy to add cameras manually with serial numbers.

Used am crest pro 1 for years and although not the best app it worked pretty good. Got new phone so installed am crest pro 2 and most time when you try to view your camera it will fail to connect. Also have issues when playing back saved recordings. Pro 2 version just don't work as well as pro 1. Never could understand how app developers could take a working app and do a new and improved update on their app and make it worse. I have gone back to using original am crest pro.

Horrible app. Can you bring back the old app? This new app is so buggy, and it never connects with my cameras when I am away from the house. Can you also add the privacy feature back?
