Am crest View Pro 1 stopped sending notifications, my android phone said "app does not send notifications" when it has for years. No settings adjustment in phone or app rectified this problem. Skeptical of Am crest View Pro 2 since it said it worked with newer cameras, mine are mostly old. Since you can have both apps on the same phone I decided to give it a try. Really glad that I did, all cameras work great, including push notifications. Easy to add cameras manually with serial numbers.

Pro 2 is more stable and responsive compared to the previous version. The previous version would hang, crash, and struggle to connect to my cameras on all of my past and present high-end Samsung cell phones. Pro 2 has none of these issues. It just works!

The notifications are the main problem. The issue is that they stack when you haven't reviewed them immediately, causing multiple playback events to bog up in the app preventing you from quickly reaching the home menu. Although there is a live view button, that doesn't help when you need to quickly manage several cameras or see the live view of a different camera quickly. You have to fully quit the app and restart it to get this event loop to stop. This is a serious UI design flaw. Fix it.

Used am crest pro 1 for years and although not the best app it worked pretty good. Got new phone so installed am crest pro 2 and most time when you try to view your camera it will fail to connect.never could understand how app developers could take a working app and do a new and improved update on their app and make it worse.
