Teleport option with my Amplify Router is working so good. This will help me a lot when I am travelling a lot overseas.

Wish there was a way to reply to other people's reviews! To generate a code, in Amplify enable "remote access" by selecting G or F from the burger menu. Close & reopen the app to see a new option "Generate code" Haven't tested it outside the network yet, but everything looks & feels easy to use (after figuring out how to generate a code). 4 * for now as generating the code is confusing for people that haven't enabled "remote access", tho' the in-app help does a decent job of explaining it - but giving everyone this functionality at zero cost is a massive plus.

It's good for securing my connection through my home router, but I am unable to connect to devices on the local network at home like it claims.

The app works great to connect securely to your home network, no VPN subscription fees!
★★☆☆☆Alicia Sykes· Mar 31, 2021
The app is very minimal, yet still somehow buggy. It often disconnects itself, and there is no auto reconnect feature. Because of this it works really poorly on mobile data. I do wish that the Ubiquity Alien devices could just support WireGuard or OpenVPN, then there would be no need for these half-baked apps, and it could be used on any platform (currently there's no Windows, Linux or macOS support for Teleport). I ended up using an R Pi, Ritual and a DO droplet to properly VPN into my home

Not great so far teleport keeps disconnecting all the time can you fix please. Latest update is that teleporting won't connect to my amplify alien router at all grrr

Teleport does not support running Silicon dust HD Home Run app outside of home. This was primary reason for purchase, and it's an EPIC FAILURE. HD Home Run launched will inform user you are "not on a local Wi-Fi network". I am contemplating returning Amplify Alien router.
