Amplify came through for me when I had problems with the newly purchased Alien Router and Mesh System. It was a nightmare just 3 mo. after installing it. Amplify support worked with me and discovered all ports failed. Returned the unit, and they sent me a whole new system. One week and the new unit is working with no issues. Return was easy, and they shipped new unit within 48 hours. I deleted my initial review as the situation was handled quickly and to my satisfaction.

You're paying way too much for a device that will likely fail within 2–3 years, it's just not worth it. Customer support is basically nonexistent. After waiting an entire month, they finally told me what I had already discovered on Reddit: your precious "Alien" is dead. The company behind them? Ubiquity. Honestly, a $40 TP-Link router performs just as well - if not better. So why spend 10 times more on something destined to fail? And if it's out of warranty? You're out of luck.

Ethernet backhaul is apparently no longer supported? Tapping the option to change it no longer brings up the menu shown on their product support page
