Tp-link works quite well as I live in an apt. Building that gives free internet.However, the 1bar signal I get uplink makes it a 5g signal

I was manually using the camera detector feature, which is glitchy. I notice if there are red tones in the room, it definitely will make the detector go off.

This app is getting to be as bad as TP-Link Tether app which used to be good a few years ago and is now worthless. Let's hope some competent developers can save Wi-Fi Toolkit from the same downfall. Tells me I'm off-line when I'm not. Tells me the network is secure but tells me the Wi-Fi is unencrypted; which it's not. Getting to be another waste of storage from TP-Link.

The Data Safety section of this app page states that there is no data collected or sent to third parties, but as soon as you open the app, you must accept the terms of a privacy policy which states that the company does in fact collect data. Even if this is anonymized data, the fact is that the company is lying. This should be a red flag to anyone who is considering using this app.

Doesn't work properly, some functions doesn't work at all. One of the worst Wi-Fi tool apps I use so far.
