Comments on Aurora Alert Realtime for Android

★★★★★ salmar80 · Dec 11, 2022

Great localized alerts that take cloud cover into account, and the webcams are a Huge benefit for spotting weak auroras.

★★★★★ Thomas Castiglione · Feb 23, 2026

Amazing App! Worked perfectly in Finland with real-time alerts. Highly recommend.

★★★★★ Hayley Hill · Mar 25, 2024

Used for holiday in Lapland, alerted accurately, so we never missed an aurora

★☆☆☆☆ Jürgen Lobert · Aug 12, 2024

Finish but not finished yet This app is only for five locations in Finland without any indication how to add other locations.

★☆☆☆☆ Jeremy K · Mar 25, 2023

Don't waste your time. Absolutely terrible. Open the map, didn't even auto locate. No aurora info on the map at all. Asked for a $7.99 one day subscription.

★★☆☆☆ Mindy · Nov 20, 2024

Not sure how to use it. It first put me on the other side of the world. When I wanted to update to my area. There were no options to do so. And all the cities and towns (except the major ones) wouldn't show up. Not like it did where I started the app. You can't grant premission for use of your location.
