Live in Sitka, Alaska...cloud cover is always an issue. App seems to be spot on with current conditions. Gives heads up notifications. Good graphics

This is my go-to app for Aurora trip planning or to know when to watch the Aurora from a webcam when I am far away from the gorgeous lights. I love the current map showing the location and strength of the lights, the current cloud cover at your chosen location and the forecast. It is easy to use, attractive and very helpful.

The app does a good enough job explaining Aurora probability. I wish it had a feature where users can confirm that the Aurora is visibly present so that alerts can be sent within a geographical area to other users. The strength of the alert could be bolstered by other users confirming or denying they are visible. Even though I get alerts I rarely see the northern lights because I can't wait around outside in the freezing cold. A user generated alert would be wonderful.

Very poor accuracy for Aurora Australia. I Understand the fickle nature of Aurora, However, I again captured her last night while this app said there was 0%. Meanwhile, another app I have, it had alerts going off for several hours with high probability and IMF/Bz/Nt notifications, with aurora being captured in four states around me. Was pro version. Uninstalling.

I'm from Alaska where I used to see the aurora all the time. I was informed that last night there would be a huge event that could be seen from my area and I became excited at the prospect of seeing the aurora. I checked this tool, and it said I had a zero to low chance of seeing them, so I did not look, but today I learned that they were indeed highly visible in my area, so I missed the only opportunity to see the aurora I have had since moving from Alaska. Huge disappointment.
