Haven't had luck yet but the app seems okay. It's just quite annoying getting notified of aurora chance when the sky is completely covered in clouds, as if I'd see anything Most of the time when the app gives me an alert, it also shows cloud coverage as 100%, which isn't always accurate I've noticed, but the alert still feels a bit pointless when there's so much clouds you can't even see the sky behind them

Very cool and highly accurate! I knew when to be on alert and caught the May 2024 display from a mountain in Northern Washington state, USA. One of the things I've most wanted to see in my lifetime. 🌌

Such a potential in the app but completely not working. Yesterday again a huge aurora visible in half of word, and I get the alert on the day after. What a stupid app.

Gives me loads of notifications that I might see one that night, but never do. Then tonight there was a very clear one, but I got zero notification from this app and only saw about it hours later from facebook when everyone posted about it. The only night I didn't get notified is the one night I actually would have seen it. Disappointing.

⚠️ it's constantly burning data in the background and the ads come through fine but the KP index never appears. 🤷🏼♂️

Was a good app for some time, now ads get more intrusive, have to consent to give so much data for who knows what purposes, also has high background data usage.
