It's a great app to know when you're likely to see the aurora. Shame they
can't change the weather to match! It would be nice to see the icon updated
to meet modern android round standards.

Just a member of casual Joe Public but love it - find it amusing though that it states the aurora should be clearly visible in the UK during daylight hours 😁👍

It was really good, but the notifications stopped working, despite reinstalling - still not working.

It's an alright app that gives a good indication of when aurora will likely be visible from the UK. Only issue with this new version is that the menu icon does not work. I am therefore unable to customize the notification threshold. I have uninstalled and instead replaced with the app of the same name by "small bouldering project". Different layout but uses the same data and the menu works. EDIT: Within hours of posting my review I got a reply from the Dev informing me that they'd fixed the issue and updated the app. Lo and behold the menu button works as intended, and I have amended my rating to reflect this. Thanks again aurora watch UK.

Notifications don't seem to work. It will notify me once at the first sign of red/amber alert, and then I won't get any more if there continues to be a red/amber alert. So for instance, last night I got a red alert at 6pm when it was still light & I wouldn't be able to see anything, and then I didn't get any on subsequent hours to tell me there was still a chance of seeing them. By the time it was dark I had forgotten about the alert & didn't look outside and so missed aurora visible all over UK

This app is useless. Alerts are received after the event has happened.

Sadly doesn't work. Nothing visible on the home screen but a white box. Very disappointing.
