Good app, would be better I'd more customizable on the notifications. For the casual observer having alerts during daylight hours doesn't make much sense. Would be good if alerts could be tailored by time as well

It's an alright app that gives a good indication of when aurora will likely be visible from the UK. Only issue with this new version is that the menu icon does not work. I am therefore unable to customize the notification threshold. I have uninstalled and instead replaced with the app of the same name by "small bouldering project". Different layout but uses the same data and the menu works. EDIT: Within hours of posting my review I got a reply from the Dev informing me that they'd fixed the issue and updated the app. Lo and behold the menu button works as intended, and I have amended my rating to reflect this. Thanks again aurora watch UK.

Rubbish. This app had one job. Alert me when there is a high amount of aurora activity. Over the 26,27 Feb it has not alerted me once, and so I have missed opportunities to see the aurora. I've checked my phone. No reason why alerts are not happening.

Love the idea of this app but literally never receive any notifications. I have them enabled for red and amber alerts, but it never comes through. Will be switching to a different app so that I don't miss another viewing.
