So far ok with these apps. Simple yet powerful. Just don't know how to set the interval of recording to 5 or 10 minutes.

Android 4.3 crush On Nexus 7 2013 with andr 4.3 crush when recording and minimize app. I had to uninstall. When will work on 4.3 I'll reconsider.

Keeps crashing When it works, it's a really good app. Takes decent video and shows good info. Problem is it keeps crashing.

★☆☆☆☆ A Google User · Sep 20, 2013

★★☆☆☆ A Google User · Jul 3, 2013

Poor quality recordings Lots of hissing from the audio and the video playback was very poor quality, despite it being at the "highest" setting. Stick to normal video camera

Turn your smartphone into a professional, intelligent dashboard camera with AutoKam. Designed for efficiency and reliability, AutoKam records high-quality footage of your drive—even while using other apps or when your screen is turned off.

Key Features:

Background Recording: Continue recording while navigating with Maps or when your phone is locked to save battery.
Smart Loop Recording: Never worry about running out of space. AutoKam automatically deletes the oldest footage when your limit is reached (e.g., 5-minute clips).
GPS & Telemetry: Embeds accurate speed, coordinates, and address data directly into subtitle files (.srt) for your videos.
Auto-Start: Can be configured to start recording automatically when you start driving.
Efficient Battery Usage: Optimized to run with the screen off using a foreground service.
Integrated Gallery: Manage, view, and lock important clips directly within the app.
Protect yourself on the road with a dashcam that just works.
