HOMEPAGE DASHBOARD Your personalized home screen features an at-a-glance view of your upcoming bookings, travel preferences, deals and offers and more.
TO CREATE, DEACTIVATE OR LOG IN TO AN ACCOUNT Log in with your existing account or create a new account to book ferry travel and access personalized features on the app. You do not need an account to view schedules and current conditions. If you do not have an account, follow these simple steps to get started: 1. Create an account on bcferries.com. 2. An account activation link will be sent to your email. Open the link within the email and log in on bcferries.com to complete activation. 3. Close the window on your mobile browser. 4. Open the app and enter your new login details. To deactivate your BC Ferries account, email key.accounts@bcferries.com and request to deactivate your account.

SCHEDULES Plan your trip with confidence with enhanced features on daily and seasonal schedules for all BC Ferries routes. Easily check sailing times for your favourite routes with travel preferences, and book directly from the schedules pages for bookable routes. Daily schedules now show the next sailing being ticketed and estimated deck space available.
CURRENT CONDITIONS Route sailing status and estimated deck space are now easier to check with the updated Current Conditions layout. Travel preferences make it easier to find your frequently traveled routes, check which sailing is being ticketed, and view status of upcoming sailings.
ALERTS Never miss any updates on the routes that matter the most to you. Opt-in to receive timely push notifications for service notices and upcoming booking reminders on your device.

This morning, I was in the ferry line up at Duke, I exited our motor home to pay at the toll both. Our male feline made a dash for freedom, 2 toll booths over he stopped under a pickup truck, the toll booths stopped traffic until I retrieved our 11-month-old pet. I can't turn notifications on. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. I checked "allow Notifications" during the installation. When I check under app settings, the "allow notifications" option is grayed out, and I can't click it to on. It data "all notifications from this app are blocked". Everything else works fine.

Unimpressed I used the app to book 2 sailings on the same ferry for the same day. After booking the second sailing, a canceled reservation for the same day appeared on the "my bookings" page. I assumed that the app had cancelled the booking to eliminate double booking the same trip on the same account. So I booked through a friend. Now there are 3 bookings in my account 2 active and one cancelled. When I called BC ferries to get help to fix this they were more than willing to keep my booking fee

This app is really convenient to book a ferry and show your booking at the terminal. The app however like everything BC ferries does falls short of being helpful. I've tried to book a ferry several times with the app but every time I go to pay it says my postal code is invalid no matter how many times I try, and I end up having to close and open it many times. Also, the current conditions cameras are stuck on Jan 1 and don't update on the app. There's a lot of potential, but it needs a lot of work.
