I can't turn notifications on. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. I checked "allow Notifications" during the installation. When I check under app settings, the "allow notifications" option is grayed out, and I can't click it to on. It data "all notifications from this app are blocked". Everything else works fine.

I'm on Van Isl & have been traveling regularly on family matters. This app has been great. In its early years it had glitches, but as a regular user now it's very good. I've set frequently travelled routes that allow for fast bookings, and it's worked flawlessly. Two issues I've noticed: 1. If I start a reservation then back out/fail to complete it becomes "confused" until that initial attempt times out. Needs a way to get back to a partially complete booking. 2. Webcam photos never updated

This app is really convenient to book a ferry and show your booking at the terminal. The app however like everything BC ferries does falls short of being helpful. I've tried to book a ferry several times with the app but every time I go to pay it says my postal code is invalid no matter how many times I try, and I end up having to close and open it many times. Also, the current conditions cameras are stuck on Jan 1 and don't update on the app. There's a lot of potential, but it needs a lot of work.

Unimpressed I used the app to book 2 sailings on the same ferry for the same day. After booking the second sailing, a canceled reservation for the same day appeared on the "my bookings" page. I assumed that the app had cancelled the booking to eliminate double booking the same trip on the same account. So I booked through a friend. Now there are 3 bookings in my account 2 active and one cancelled. When I called BC ferries to get help to fix this they were more than willing to keep my booking fee

Terrible app, constant freezing, wouldn't accept my payment info, showed options unable to reserve but then would be available upon the next login - it really needs some work. Ended up uninstalling before a single booking was done.
