Learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the way it finally makes sense. Beyond the Mat teaches BJJ for beginners in interactive 3D: one short lesson a day, a technique you can turn around and look straight through, then a few questions to check if it stuck.

Two classes a week leave five days where nothing reinforces what you learned. That is where white belts lose most of it. Beyond the Mat fills the gap in five minutes a day.

HOW IT WORKS
• Watch a technique in 3D, rotate it, see through the bodies to where the weight and grips really are
• Answer quick questions that make you decide, not just watch
• Build a streak with short daily sessions that fit around training
• Follow a clear beginner path: positions, guard, escapes, sweeps, submissions and the fundamentals every white belt needs

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Guard basics and guard retention. Mount and side control escapes. Takedowns and grappling fundamentals. Chokes, armlocks and the mechanics behind them. The concepts that connect techniques, so you know what to do next when you step on the mat.

MADE FOR
• Complete beginners deciding whether to try a Jiu-Jitsu class
• White belts in their first year who forget techniques between sessions
• Anyone training MMA, judo or wrestling who wants BJJ drills and grappling basics explained clearly

Six in-app coaches each cover a specialism: fundamentals, escapes and defence, submission mechanics, balance and top control, your first weeks, and the history and philosophy of the art.

FREE TO DOWNLOAD
Every lesson is included on the free plan. Premium removes the daily limit so you can train as much as you like.
Whether you have never stepped on a mat or you are a white belt building your game, Beyond the Mat helps you understand Jiu-Jitsu between classes, so the next time you train, you already know what to do.

Stop just watching techniques. Start understanding them.
