What's the point of having an app, that redirects you to a website. Pointless

They told me I could only vote in the app, but the app redirects me to it website. I don't appreciate my time being wasted and my data being wasted by a lie.

Was working fine but this week when trying to vote I am not receiving the passcode to log in and register my votes. Third a dozen times and uninstalled/reinstalled the app but still I can't vote.

I CAN'T vote to save my fave! It's saying I've already voted when I haven't. I don't have any updates, so it's not that, I've logged out of the app and back in but nothing has changed. Is this how they fix it for an undeserving winner?
