Update..... Super easy fix. If you open your phone settings. Open your APPS. Choose BLU_LIGHT and open it. In the BLU_LIGHT Scroll till you see STORAGE and open it. Choose CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DATA. After that go back to play store and re-install the blu_light app. And it should work again at least it did for me.

I've had several brands of lights controlled by phone or a remote and all turn on by themselves for whatever reason so install a switch... common sense. As far as the app is concerned it works well, but it would be nice if it would recognize music already playing in a different app instead of loading songs into it. Most people stream music and I would like to be able to select a plain white light in the custom colors when making color rotations of the custom light area in the scenes section.

Worked fine for about 3 years. Now the lights are stuck on one color (that I did not choose), and the app crashes before I can change anything.

When starting up or going into settings I keep getting some Chinese message at bottom of screen, you can only use music when you have songs saved on your phone, when more than 5 ft away from controller it disconnects, can't connect from outside of car, most annoying is that all my LED lights are OPT7, but I have to switch between apps to get settings on my LED set ??? OPT7 has their app but gives a link to this app to control the rock lights ???? Music needs ton of permissions ?

Lights turn on by themselves all the time. Sometimes it's in the middle day, but often it's the middle of the night. Then, when you try to connect to shut them off, the app either stops trying to connect with no error or you get a connection aborted error. It can take up to 40-50 tries to connect. Maybe it's the hardware and not the app, but this is low quality. I'll be ordering some different lights later today and swapping them out, because these don't work as they should. Waste of money.
