I refuse to believe that there are only two doctors available for an appointment two months away in a MAJOR metro area. Clearly this is an app abandoned in its beginning stages of development.

They force you to pay up front because their "Doctors" are incompetent, and they know you won't pay for their poor service. Their doctor failed to diagnose my issue (even after I told them what it was), provided a prescription that the pharmacist refused to fill because they said it could actually hurt me and their customer support couldn't even find my visit in their system when I demanded a refund. I'll be filling a complaint with the Board of Health and the Attorney General.

Bad service and systems. First of all this isn't BCBS. It's an outsourced company with a different system called America well. They will charge you upfront even if you've met all your deductibles. Then, when you point out that your insurance paid them in full, their CS tells you that you do still owe it and refuse to refund you. I called BCBS CS that confirmed they shouldn't have charged me and should refund my charge. So that convenience you think you're getting will cost you money and time.
