Description
Privacy doesn't need to be hard.
Bote allows users to send and receive emails while preserving privacy. It does not need a mail server because emails are stored in a distributed hash table. They are automatically encrypted and digitally signed, which ensures no one but the intended recipient can read the email, and third parties cannot forge them.

It works as long as you have it set to remote router. I really like anything i2p related even if it doesn't always work. A few changes must be made on the Android i2p router before this will work properly. But I just wanna say this is not a normal email program it will not work for email addresses outside of bote and i2p. It's completely self contained, however the PC version has some support for outside.

This app works very well but you have to use the internal router. If you go into settings, select advanced, uncheck the router settings box so it switches from auto to manual, select internal router. It will take a short while to connect but the automatic error message you get when trying to connect to I2P Android goes away.

Was not able to connect I2P router My Android router works as expected. I'm able to browse eepsites in Firefox. When I start Bote and press connect to network it shows error with cause "Connection refused" on domain socket. Tried multiple times, re installed router and bote. Nothing helps. Very unfortunate :( PS. I'm on Samsung S6, AT&T stock firmware

First experience: I hated it - I couldn't get my head around how this app works. The connection doesn't work (no matter how many times I try to switch from auto i2p or manual) frustrating! I just wanted to try out this app but I'm disappointed with it. I even tried sending an email to my Gmail account and all it says is message cued for sending -_-' it can't even send 1 bloody email and how ironic it is that it doesn't work nor fulfil its purpose :( really fed up and will be uninstalling asap - I DONT RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE ELSE, IT IS A WASTE OF TIME!
