I was skeptical because I had used a different company a few years ago and loved them, but that company became too expensive. Bright side was in my price range and allowed me to select my therapist, which is absolutely necessary for me. I don't trust just anybody to talk to about my problems. My therapist is awesome, and fits me like a glove. Bright side makes getting therapy easy, and the app keeps it all neatly organized with check-ins and updates to my mental health. I'm very pleased with them.

Bright side has been extremely helpful and very easy to use. I started it for grief counseling as my brother recently passed away, but it has turned into so much more. I found a new psychiatrist that is on top of my meds and listens to my needs. I was able to easily switch therapists when my first one wasn't a good fit. I can easily schedule appointments and complete lessons my therapist assigns me. What I love the most is that it's all virtual, and I can do it effectively with a busy schedule.

Great therapists and psych doctors on here. The only thing is, if you are on a narcotic type medicine in psychiatric care on here they cannot prescribe it, but will prescribe a similar non-narcotic that works well too.

My Bright side psychiatric care was deeply upsetting. In roughly 60 days, I was prescribed or transitioned through six medications. When I asked Mayra Koedam for stability and time to understand what was helping, I felt talked over and was called “defensive.” I had to stop the appointment and ask if she agreed the professional relationship was not functioning. She agreed, yet continued for about 15 more minutes. I left crying for two days, ended care, and returned to my previous psychiatrist.

So horrible! They said is a membership, but they charged you per appointment they say the insurance cover it lies. They charged me over 600 dollars for 1 month, not only that but the doctors not great either, I was on medication for 1 week and ended up in the ER. absolutely horrible experience. If you are in need of good Doctors please go somewhere else. Please don't make the same mistake as I did

There's no grace period if you're a few minutes late to an appointment. I was 10 minutes late to an appointment due to unavoidable circumstances, and they charged me $97 immediately. They say the charge will incur at the next appointment, but that's not true, it happens immediately. An appointment cost $15. That's 6 appointments of money and your therapist gets paid for a free hour and you get nothing. Nothing at all.
