Bright side has been extremely helpful and very easy to use. I started it for grief counseling as my brother recently passed away, but it has turned into so much more. I found a new psychiatrist that is on top of my meds and listens to my needs. I was able to easily switch therapists when my first one wasn't a good fit. I can easily schedule appointments and complete lessons my therapist assigns me. What I love the most is that it's all virtual, and I can do it effectively with a busy schedule.

Great therapists and psych doctors on here. The only thing is, if you are on a narcotic type medicine in psychiatric care on here they cannot prescribe it, but will prescribe a similar non-narcotic that works well too.

I've had several therapists, but 2 left, and the others weren't a good match for me, personally. I use just the psychiatry (meds) services, not the therapy part because of that. I'm not sure if I can use names here, so I won't, but "K" has been an answer to my prayers as far as medication goes. I've struggled hard all my life with depression, and she has worked incredibly hard to find medication that works for me! She's very patient and listens to me, which is hard to find these days!

If you're looking for consistent, ongoing therapy, this may not be the best fit. My psychiatrist was great. However, finding a therapist who could see me regularly and consistently was difficult. One therapist canceled my appointment due to a holiday and said they would open their schedule, so I could reschedule. They never did, nor did they respond to my messages. The next two therapists only had availability once every 6–8 weeks. They have way more clients than what they can support.

Absolute scam!!!!!!!! Booked an appt and immediately got told they couldn't help me. The doctor books me a follow-up with a psychiatrist, and I canceled that as I didn't need it. I've now been charged over $300!!!!! For them to basically do nothing!!!!!!!! How do you run a business helping people when you do nothing and bleed them dry. THIS WAS 100% A SCAM AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK SO I CAN GO TO SOMEONE WHO WILL ACTUALLY HELP ME! STOP STEALING MONEY FROM VULNERABLE PEOPLE WHO WANT HELP!!!!!

My Bright side psychiatric care was deeply upsetting. In roughly 60 days, I was prescribed or transitioned through six medications. When I asked Mayra Koedam for stability and time to understand what was helping, I felt talked over and was called “defensive.” I had to stop the appointment and ask if she agreed the professional relationship was not functioning. She agreed, yet continued for about 15 more minutes. I left crying for two days, ended care, and returned to my previous psychiatrist.
