I ride capital metro infrequently now. Each time, the process changed, and I have trouble learning the "new" process. The tech is confusing and not intuitive to my 65 yr old brain. Overall, I give Cap Metro good marks.

You can't select if you want to use funds or a pass from a card. The system defaults you to passes first, like it or not. The daily fare cap expires at 4 am every day, instead of lasting a full 24 hours from the time of activation, which was a bad choice. You're better off getting a physical amp card and loading and using only passes. Despite these things, it's still a better app than the "Transit" app Cap Metro has proposed using, and hope they reconsider migrating to an inferior platform.

Awful app! Passes don't load at all! No Q code to scan on the bus. The older version was better than this one.

It took a lot of work but on the new app you go to the menu and click on use to get the pass after you buy it. The main issue is now the app will still show the qr code on an expired pass. I tried to tell cap metro there customer service does nothing.
