In my original post over a year ago I stated it didn't work properly, or only worked sporadically. Due to my elderly mother moving in, I decided to give it one last try before tossing in the trash. After playing with it for days, I finally have both controllers working for about 3 weeks now. The reason I don't give 5 stars is due to the setup (online videos helpful to a point) and it drains my phone battery so I must sign out and back in every time I use it...oh bother.

REALLY HORRIBLE - sometimes the app allows you to change device settings, sometimes it doesn't. Doesn't seem to be a way to remove a device that has failed, only hide it. Groups and timers work only SOMETIMES. All in all, avoid these "smart plugs" and this app.
