Finally, an update! The app was redone from the ground up and fixes the many bugs. The UI is slick, fast, functional, everything you could ask for. The new app is 100x better than the old. It just took some time but now I don't need to ask my wife to use the iPhone app which didn't have the same bugs lol

I bought the communications kit for my Carrier Splits. I was skeptical because the links for the USB dongles didn't work. I'm not sure why everyone is complaining. This app works perfectly. All functions are accessible in the app, and I can see the status of both at the same time. Very happy with the addition!

Can not open menu to set up schedules. App crashes and closes. Carrier please fix. I bought this specifically for Wi-Fi and scheduling.

App crashes when trying to use options menu. The new Midea Smartphone app is much more functional and stable for controlling the web enabled Carrier Mini-Split. It's integration with Alexa is way more functional.

This app is so bad that I would never buy a carrier product again. Takes several seconds before you can do anything in the app. Sometimes I change the temperature and nothing happens on the unit. The units randomly ignore the schedules. The app and units randomly switch back to Celsius even though I have it set to Fahrenheit. Takes several taps to change even simple things in a schedule. Demands location permissions even though all it does with it is display the weather. It's just terrible.
