## Map features
- View Mapsforge offline vector maps (including OpenAndroMaps.org maps!).
- Support for OpenAndroMaps render themes (Elevate, Elements), which are great for hiking, mountainbiking, running, and other outdoor activities.
- Other supported offline map formats: MBTiles (raster and OpenMapTiles MVT vector), TwoWays RMAP, Locus SQLite, Oruxmaps SQLite, Garmin IMG (non-NT only).
- Supported online map types: Mapbox vector tiles (MVT - OpenMapTiles style), Bing quadkey tile format (raster), OpenStreetMap slippy tile format (raster), raster WMS (web map service, including layers and styles), WMTS maps.
- Offline hillshading and slope mapping (*).
- Mapsforge multi-maps (combine multiple Mapsforge maps into a single map) (*).
- Classic Mapsforge and new Mapsforge VTM rendering support.
- Stack multiple map layers on top of each other (including transparency) (*).
- 3D buildings (*).

Great gps and map app available for both Android and iPhone. Supports offline maps for use without cell service. Worldwide offline maps are easily downloaded within the app. It also allows third party maps to be imported, including maps forge maps, poi, and styles as well as raster maps in formats such as motiles. Poi overlays are searchable offline. Simple to use, but with enough settings to allow user configuration. Helpful info is available on website, and author is responsive to emails.

Perfect replacement for Locus 3 which will become obsolete in spring 2026. Works with openandromaps and other vector maps. Responsive developer and plenty of options for configuration and personalization. Been using it since V2 on iOS for years but just realized today that there is an Android version. Takes a bit to get used to the interface but after a bit playing around it's very easy to use.
