Chordicasso: The Ultimate Smart Chord Diagram Studio 🎸🧠🎨
Stop wasting time with manual plotting. Elevate your music education materials, lead sheets, jazz method books, and social media content with Chordicasso—the chord diagram studio designed by a professional jazz musician for musicians, educators, and students.
Chordicasso provides a professional, "smart" workflow that understands music theory as fast as you think.
🌟 Why Chordicasso?
Smart Chord Auto-Naming: Our built-in jazz theory engine analyzes your notes instantly. Plot a chord and get the correct name immediately—no more manual typing for every inversion (and yes, it's fully editable!).
Replace Marker System: Designed for the speed of thought. The system follows guitar physics (One Note per String), replacing markers automatically as you move. Plotting chords has never been this fast.
Anatomical Smart Fingering: We don’t just show dots; we show reality. Our algorithm calculates fingerings based on actual hand anatomy, ensuring every grip—from standard barre chords to complex Jazz extensions—is playable on the neck.
Instant Inversions: Easily cycle through Root, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd inversions (Drop 2, Drop 3, Shell voicings, etc.) with a single click.
🎼 Professional Chord Sheet Studio
Custom Grid Layouts: Organize your chord collections into beautiful, ready-to-use sheets. Choose from flexible grid sizes ranging from 2x2 up to 7x7 to fit your needs perfectly.
Custom Sheet Title: Easily type your song title or custom lesson topic right onto the header of the sheet.
Custom Backgrounds & Paper Colors: Personalize your sheets with custom colors or upload your own background images (e.g., custom paper textures, branding, or wallpapers) for PDF and PNG exports.
Smart Multi-Page Export: Large collection? The app automatically handles pages logically:
PDF: Automatically breaks pages and exports them as a single, crystal-clear document—perfect for printing or loading into your tablet's music reader.
PNG: Saves directly as a single image file if it fits on one page. For larger collections with multiple pages, the app automatically bundles them into a single .ZIP file for quick, one-click exporting!
🎨 Creative Visual Themes & Customization
Transform dull digital grids into beautiful art assets. Choose the perfect look for your project:
Picasso’s Ink (Pro): Organic, hand-drawn brush strokes that give the warmth of real ink on textured paper.
3D Realistic: Glossy, high-contrast 3D markers with metallic guitar strings for maximum visual depth.
Classic: Clean, minimalist, and high-contrast layouts perfect for standard method books.
Adjustable Line Weight: Fine-tune your grid thickness from a clean 3px up to a bold, powerful 9px.
Smart Dark Mode Outlines: Export transparent individual PNGs with built-in white outlines so your diagrams stay perfectly readable on dark backgrounds or video overlays.
🚀 Advanced Export & Vector Workflow (Pro Features)
Infinite SVG Vector Export: Export pure vector paths (available for Classic & Picasso themes). Resize infinitely for high-res book publishing, posters, or digital art without losing a single pixel. Perfect for Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
