Someone told me CLC had a mobile app, so I can search while traveling. I installed the app on my Android, but when I needed it the most, it didn't work. I wrote current location and dates, hit search. Result: no hotels available in your area, which I knew it wasn't true. Tried to update the app thinking it needed latest updates. Couldn't find a way to check for updates even though on the settings menu says: check for updates. I will still use my laptop which I have to log in and all those steps

The app in general isn't bad, easy to use. I've never not been able to get a room other than a time my company had the price limit set too low. My main gripe with the app is the remember me button for logging in has never worked in the 2 years I've used the app.

Don't bother, just use Hotel Engine. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I'm forced to use CLC for work. It has been one miserable experience after another. Their app is horrible at actually finding hotels and listing them, often showing no results one moment, then showing them after you perform the same search 5 more times. The customer service experience is horrible. Long wait times are the rule, and they have no intention of actually helping you or upholding the rates listed on the app.
