A fantastic option for simple accounting, ideally suited to sole traders. I've done my own accounting for a limited company for years, using some good and some bad accounting software; the structure and simplicity of this app puts it amongst the best. It appears that the MTD reports will need to be submitted from the web browser interface. Adding the facility to do this in the app would put it head and shoulders above the others.

Simple. Nice clear presentation. Keeps it to the absolute essential - sales and bills-so good to check on things on the road. If you want more visibility or more functions, then use a browser as long as you can cope with the small size.

I thought I'd jump on the MTD digital early and try and iron out any issues unfortunately this software is unintuitive, and you'll need a degree in accounting to use it it doesn't do even basic things very easily at all such as milage allowance my accounts are simple but not on this software I changed 1 thing, and it destroyed a year's worth of accounts, so I ended up wiping to start again then it would only load 1 month instead of the year I've now used HMRC to opt out for two years

Appalling user interface that's basically a Web browser. Except it does less than the website. Free users do not get to use the community support section, nor comment on others questions. It also doesn't let you mark bills/invoices as paid unless you pay for the full version. So it doesn't give you an accurate accounts to submit to HMRC.

Seems you probably have to be an accountant to use this, way too complicated, cant seem to delete anything, you can't delete your account without paying a subscription to contact the makers. Ive got several invoices under the same reference but you can't change it or delete it, it took me about 4 hours a year to completely do my books with hmrc online, ive spent longer trying to delete one account and still no closer ive spent about 6 hours inputting 3 months (3 cis statements)
