Cleared®

Cleared® is the trusted identity and verification app for consumers and merchants.

If you are applying for a job, renting a property, or doing business, Cleared® makes it easy to prove who you are and confirm the entity you are dealing with. Those entities are vetted, so you can feel safe sharing private data.

This app offers a dual-mode experience for customers and merchants, built for security, convenience, and instant verification anywhere, anytime.

For Customers:

Take control of your identity and background data in a secure digital wallet, and walk with it wherever you go to do business.

* Get verified once, use it many times. No need to do verifications 5 times for 5 different businesses. Get your ID, address, job, income, qualifications, and references verified in minutes.
* Background checks without the hassle. We've innovated background checks and made them easy to do online. This includes criminal record checks.
* Secure QR code sharing. Show or scan a QR code to securely share your identity and other verifications with approved merchants or employers.
* Get real-time notifications. The platform sends you notifications when a merchant requests your information or when a verification is completed.
* Full privacy control. You decide who gets access and when. No one sees your data unless you allow it.
* Reward points for sharing. You're already sharing your data for legitimate purposes, but now you also get loyalty points each time you share with a merchant. Each merchant has a Loyalty Club that gives you access to exclusive offers.

For Merchants, Employers & Realtors:

Screen customers, tenants, or employees with speed and confidence.

* Scan and Verify. Instantly scan a customer’s Cleared® identity QR and view their verified profile (with their permission).
* Request Verifications. Ask customers to verify their identity, address, references, income, qualifications, or background.
* Real-time results. No waiting days or weeks. Most verifications are shared instantly, or completed same day, and up to 48 hours.
* Track Status. Get live updates and clear audit trails for each verification.
* API and integration ready. Integrate Cleared® into your apps and improve your onboarding processes.
* In-person verifications. Innovative in-person identity and address verification for customers who visit your store or office.

Built for Trust:

* Powered by Cleared Identity Limited, Jamaica’s leading verification platform
* Compliant with KYC, AML, and data privacy standards
* Bank-grade encryption and secure cloud infrastructure
* Used by employers, landlords, lenders, and government agencies

Digital IDs:

With Cleared®, institutions can forego printing of plastic and issue digital IDs to staff, field workers, students or club/association members. Plastic IDs can easily be faked and stolen.

Digital IDs are near impossible to fake, and can be controlled remotely, to facilitate temporary issuance and many other use cases requiring control.

Why Use Cleared®?

Trust is everything. Cleared® helps you build it, prove it, and protect it, whether you’re the one being cleared or the one requesting the clearance.
