Great Android app & Great car rental service at Europcar. 😎👍 Employees are very kind and helpful to you. 🇮🇹🇪🇺 Those who complain about Europcar might have a problem with admitting to their lack of tech skills to use an app & driving capabilities vs their insurance coverage. Perhaps they like gambling to pay less and hope roads are not any jungle. 😉

I booked a car with Europcar with airport meet-and-greet included. No one showed up. The contact number was not at the airport, no follow-up calls were made, and after an hour I was referred to a different rental company asking for cash payment. Multiple contradictory excuses were given. A formal complaint has been open for 4 weeks with no response. Completely unreliable and misleading service.

Cannot log in into my account either on the app or website. I tried booking online via the website, took a photo of my driving license, and it was accepted, then a server error. Even trying to report my problems is a problem. I hope the car hire experience is better than my digital experience. I feel uncomfortable about booking with this company again.

It's a shame because the app seems easy to use, and it really is. But the number of glitches, especially in "my rentals/past rentals," is crazy. It usually shows the same past rental (the one before my last) multiple times instead of all my past rentals. When you click on "view receipt," it always gives an error that says: "We're sorry, there was a problem with our system, and we are unable to complete this action." So, in the end, I can't review my previous rentals or see my receipt.
