I like the option of having a car that's insured for road trips. My only significant complaint is the lack of vetting for membership or retribution for damages done to vehicles. Perhaps, they could just change the app to take pictures before start and before finishing each trip. And like the existing promotions where one gets 15 minutes for using a car that's been parked a while, they could offer weekly fluid & status checks for free time. Overall I love the service. It's really Affordable.

I've been a passenger with my girlfriend being the account holder/driver, and I have to honestly say all the bad reviews for Communauto are just people that can't understand how technology works. All apps have their pros and cons, sure, but Communauto has been a lifesaver for both of us and their customer service has been phenomenal! They are kind, patient and will work with you to find solutions for any issues that may be encountered. I believe they deserve 5+ stars. Thank You Communauto! 💖

I've not had the app problems others have. It works! The app has improved over the past year, as well. The one thing about the Comm cars is the disarray people leave them in. When I've gotten into a car I've had to go to Canadian Tire to replace broken wipers 3x, filled almost empty tanks, cleaned a ton garbage & been left with zero wiper fluid 3x in a row in the dirty winter (which is dangerous). 4 stars for needing more member accountability. But overall, I love the service!

The worst thing you can do is take communauto flex. I haven't had a single nice experience with them. First time, I didn't find the keys in the car. Couldn't take the car. Waited for 45 mns on the phone with customer service. Then they asked me to find another one, something that's impossible in the weekend. Next day I found one, booked it. Walked 15 mns to get to it. I can't find it. It's not there.I cancel and look again, not on the app. It's a waste of time and energy

Unsafe cars. Their app always has a service disruption, and all of their cars have issues. Even their newer models always have some form of "maintenance required" message on the dash. A few times I've rented a flex vehicle, got to the location, and the car was nowhere to be found. Today I tried to access a stationed vehicle but couldn't get in. After 15 minutes of trying, I canceled the reservation and was charged $36. Impossible to get a hold of customer service without waiting 2+ hours.
