The Authenticator app enhances the security of Cynergy Bank Online Banking to help protect you and your money. Before you can use the Authenticator app you’ll need to register it – you can do this when you log into Online Banking. Once registered, you can use the Authenticator app to authenticate your request using Notifications. If you are having trouble using Notifications, you can use the authentication image instead: Using Notifications 1.Tap the Notification sent to your smartphone to authenticate.

Like the security of it. Easy and quick to use once set up. Have two completely different types of accounts with Synergy and I can view them both in one place. Lovely. Had to use my wife's mob to register the app for the second account though. Once I thought that through, after a bit of prompting from tech help.all became good.

Opened an account yesterday and really hate using this app. As others have said it is pretty terrible, however I have manged to set it up and use it to log into online banking via the verification image scan. For the life of me though I cannot get push notifications to work, which is okay when you have the image scan facility for online banking, but it's no good for registering an open banking connection.

Horrible. Synergy bank has good rates but using this app is such a headache IT IS not worth banking with them. AVOID!

I have just opened an account and spent all evening trying to get the authentication to work. Is this really a bank in 2023. I use online banking for at least 5 different banks and have never had such a poor experience. I'm going to have to spend all Monday on the phone seeking to close the account and get my money bank. Thank god I only opened the easy access account and had not yet opened the fixed term account with a significant sum. What a shambles. I should have read the reviews.
