The app itself will not accept my payment. I have googled it and this has been an ongoing issue. I have the app for convenience, so I don't have to call or go in person. If you can't get the app going after all this time remove from every store, so there is no confusion and the consumers don't waste their time. Would not recommend Direct auto for convenience period!!

Got insurance for my truck on here, paid 6 months in full and thought everything was good. Apparently I received an e-mail (that I didn't notice) saying to send them proof of residence by a certain date or my policy will be terminated. Long story short I get a lower refund check in the mail to the address they asked me for proof of. If they didn't think this was my address, then why send a check for over $1000 to it? This has all been a huge inconvenience for me, and makes absolutely no sense.

The app is basically just a shortcut to their internet homepage. You can't really do anything from the app except make a payment and get your ID cards. I guess that's all it really should be, but it would be nice to not be forced to call customer service or visit a physical location to make some changes. The app could really use some updates and actually be turned into an app instead of a shortcut
