Description by DSB-IT(from Google Play)
The DSB app is part of your journey. Here you can find tickets, commuter cards, and traffic information.
In the DSB app, you can purchase Orange tickets, a commuter card, or use Check in, and see current traffic information and an overview of departures. You can also buy a seat reservation for your trip.
You can find cheap Orange and Orange Free tickets on a wide selection of our departures.
Check in is a new digital ticket at Rejsekort prices*, for those who need to travel here and now. Just swipe before you board, and travel as far as needed with all public transport in Zealand, Funen, and Jutland. We will check you out automatically or remind you to do so.
When you buy a ticket or check in through our app, you earn points on your journey, which can be used at 7-Eleven at the station. You just need to be logged in with your DSB Plus profile and accept our points terms. And if you check in, part of the journey must be with DSB trains.
You can purchase, renew, and refund commuter cards and have your youth card delivered in the app if it is from DSB.
If you experience any issues while using the app, you can call us at 70 13 14 15 every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.
Download the DSB app and get everything you need for your journey in one place.
*Check in with DSB’s app costs the same as a personal Rejsekort if you are an adult in the age range 26-66. As a youth aged 18 to 25 and 67+, you will receive your usual age discount.
Recent changes: - You can now select travellers, bicycles, and prams from the start of your journey search. - We have also made a number of minor improvements that we hope will make your experience with the app even better.

So freaking easy and, with the 30+ days commuter card, WHAT a money saver!

App is horrible since the update. My card is never saved even though I have saved it in all possible ways. The booking experience is also horrible now.

Excellent and easy app. Cristal clear!!

Initially gave a low score because I couldn't get the app to do something it's not meant to (cross border journeys into Denmark from outside or out again). Developer very kindly responded with instructions on how to do it via the website (Thanks, Noelle!) RE-EDIT: I had hoped my edit would leave the response and instructions in place, but they've gone - will try and find them again and add here....

these apps "check-in" feature did not work for one of our trips to Copenhagen despite me selecting tickets for me and my family and pressing the button. We were travelling on the metro as tourists and a ticket officer came up to us, I showed him my phone thinking that I had checked in, but the app had never actually checked me in and the button was stuck. Led to each of my family members getting a fine. I showed the ticket officer the bug with the app, but they sent us a fine anyway.

I like the app when I use it for my commuter card but the check in/check out function could be improved. It's not very practical that you need to click again when you change means of transport and that you need to select what line of bus for example you are taking. The resort app is better in that sense, you only have to check in and check out, it doesn't matter if you change transports in the way. Specially when you are running in the morning, it can be really annoying to do otherwise.

Impossible to figure out how to book DSB 1st and seat reservation

The app frequently experiences issues detecting where you are, or what transport options you are nearby. For example at Nørreport station the apps only available check ins was metro and S-train, meaning boarding the regional train with a valid ticket was impossible until the app figured out where I was / what transport options it should present. This in turn caused me to miss the train, since I didn't want to board without a valid ticket. Took ~5 minutes before I could check in.
