The application is fine once you get it to connect to the mug. For some strange reason it has issues connecting to the mug and most of the time it asks to be paired to the mug, twice. This is the only BT enabled application that has this behavior on my phone. Samsung S25 ultra on the latest sw.

I've had an ember mug for years now, at least 3, I can't even remember. Simple black mug and charger. Using the app on a samsung S10. Now, in the past there were... quite some issues. Problems with Bluetooth, Bluetooth history, pairing devices, sometimes it won't connect, or it would only connect for a second, or it would connect, but the app did nothing. All of it. Fixed. In my experience on an old phone and even older mugs, I don't even know if they've updated the mugs they sell, but it's great.

I have 4 ember mugs and had no issues for quite a while. Now, none of them connect to the app.

When I installed the app for the first time it would pair with the mug, and I was able to adjust color and temp as expected. However, every time after reopening the app it would be able to connect with the mug, and I would have to re-pair it. I reinstalled the app, but now it isn't able to connect to the mug at all. On the pairing screen it isn't able to find the mug even though the mug is flashing blue light. I've tried it several times, reinstalled again, but it wouldn't find it.

Doesn't connect to pixel 7 pro 2026-04 keeps losing connection and mug has to be reset up. Found 3rd party software "ember supreme" seems to work much better than this app. Sad how third party app developer can reverse engineer a better product.
