The application is fine once you get it to connect to the mug. For some strange reason it has issues connecting to the mug and most of the time it asks to be paired to the mug, twice. This is the only BT enabled application that has this behavior on my phone. Samsung S25 ultra on the latest sw.

I've had an ember mug for years now, at least 3, I can't even remember. Simple black mug and charger. Using the app on a samsung S10. Now, in the past there were... quite some issues. Problems with Bluetooth, Bluetooth history, pairing devices, sometimes it won't connect, or it would only connect for a second, or it would connect, but the app did nothing. All of it. Fixed. In my experience on an old phone and even older mugs, I don't even know if they've updated the mugs they sell, but it's great.

This app still is terrible about maintaining Bluetooth connections. The app forgets my mug after every use. Each time I open the app and need to connect to my mug, I have to unpair and re-pair it.

Probably one of the worst apps I've used for such an expensive product. You get cheaper products with great apps, but this is just abysmal. Once I connect, the connection only lasts for that session - after that, it never connects unless I hard reset and start the pairing process all over again. Apparently, there's an independent app called Ember Supreme that works better so will give that a shot. - Pixel 9

No fix in site. Every time you want to use the cup, almost 3 times daily. You will have to pair the cup like it's new for it to connect to the app. This has been an issue for over a year. I've had this cup for over 2 years and will not be trying a new one. They seem to have abandoned this app.
