Been using the free version for years, and I have not had any problems. And after your answer I just wanted to add to my review. As a man living of disability income, it's hard to put into words how much this app has helped me. Of course, it asks (and key word here is ASKS) if I want to buy an upgrade, but it has NEVER put me in a position where I would have to spend money (and I don't have a lot of money) to keep using the app.

Upgraded phone and this app. The intrusive ads and attempts to get subscriptions are really annoying now. 5-star functionality minus 3 for spamming ads and subscriptions then wanting annual payment for an app that's not significantly changed in functionality in the last 10 years. I was actually looking to purchase until I realized there was no option to do so. Edit to add: 1- time purchase without any premium features (which I don't want) please!
