Been working great for years. But overnight, now will not load up in Samsung secure folder. Still works ok on the main phone app area. So had to re-register to use main phone area. And app no longer in more secure part of phone. (Reply: I had already phoned FD this morning, spoke with technical team, they weren't aware of the problem. Said to run on main part of phone until app updated)

I've rejoined after being with Starling, and I'm struggling to see why First Direct has such a bad reputation on the Play Store. I find the app easy to use and straightforward. It may not have all the bells and whistles of Starling, but it has everything I need. I originally left because of overseas card fees, but now they're gone, I'm happy to be back. Great savings rates too.

It's a great app, and everything I see is working fine. BUT..... there is one thing that is really bugging me. The app is Not in Dark mode, and there's no option to change it to dark mode if you prefer. It hurts my eyes in light mode, and I have to turn down my brightness to use the app, which isn't great. This would be my only gripe with an excellent banking app. Please have the option to change the app to Dark mode ASAP☺️🤘💙💛

No longer able to access account because I do not use the standard Google keyboard. I use the FUTO keyboard with zero data collection.

Cant use now because it is saying FUTO keyboard is a security risk with no link to evidence. The keyboard does not have internet permission so could not alone save data. Telling me to use Gboard which uploads huge amounts of typing data hence why for privacy and security I chose FUTO. If there is evidence that FUTO is bad I'll remove it immediately and Google should remove it from the app store so please provide evidence. Could also embed a number pad in the app.
