After a broad search for a fully independent ⌚️ with LTE abilities controlled by a parent, I finally found Fitbit Ace LTE and this app, and love both! Great for real time location, calls, and messaging. Google can enhance a few areas in the parent app (add satelite view to maps, add location history, integrate data to other platforms like Life360 (already great in Google Maps!), allow MORE than only 2 Parents, disable all childish games & colors) but those are all nice to have next items.

Calling sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. But texting and location works great. Fitbit Ace just can't read my Fitbit step count, so we can't achieve any family goals and games. Hopefully it all improves soon

This app and the Google/fitbit ecosystem is frustrating beyond belief. Parent fitbit watches send to health context but this app won't read the data from health connect properly. Disappointing my children because my 2mi run doesn't count isn't cool fitbit. Edit: I appreciate the link but it's not a problem with fitbit device. It's a problem with the Fitbit Ace app reading Health Connect. My Health Connect logd even say that the app read my data! But steps counted toward family quest aren't working.

This app needs to be available on wearos also... since the Fitbit ace doesn't have a phone number it is impossible to communicate with my child via just my watch and requires my phone.
