Description
FLORAVIA is a game about connecting flowers on a honeycomb of hexagons. Put your finger on a flower, drag through the neighbouring ones of the same family, and when you let go they all bloom at once.
That is the whole thing to learn. Ten seconds is enough.
A HONEYCOMB, NOT A GRID
Every cell has six neighbours, not four. A chain can turn through any of the six directions and never gets cut off at a corner, so finding the long way round is part of the game: the longer the chain, the more it gives you.
• 3 or 4 flowers — a normal bloom • 5 or 6 — a strong bloom and a seed charge • 7 to 9 — a SUN SEED is born, and it clears all six neighbours • 10 or more — a PRISMATIC SEED is born, and it harvests a whole family
SIX FAMILIES YOU CAN TELL APART WITHOUT COLOUR
The violet has five round petals, the daisy thin rays, the lotus concentric petals, the poppy four ruffled petals, the leaf its veins and the bud its closed teardrop shape. They read in black and white, which is how it should be.

Morning Meadow, Riverside Garden, Golden Conservatory, Autumn Cottage, Frost Garden, Moonlit Greenhouse and Sakura Courtyard. Each with its own hand-painted backdrop, its own light and its own air: drifting petals, motes of light, snow, shimmering water.
And its own obstacles: dry soil cleared layer by layer, stones that never move, vines that trap a plant, clay pots hiding something, and dew buds to open.
LEVELS ARE LIMITED BY MOVES, NOT BY TIME
Nothing rushes you. Look at the board for as long as you like. And if you get stuck, after eight seconds the game points at a move you could make — without solving anything for you.
YOU CAN NEVER GET TRAPPED
If the board runs out of legal moves it reshuffles itself, for free, without costing you a move. It is guaranteed by design and checked level by level.
THREE BOOSTERS THAT NEVER COST A MOVE
• TROWEL — removes one tile or one layer of an obstacle • WATERING CAN — blooms a plant and waters the ring around it • BREEZE LEAF — shuffles the board and guarantees a move

ORIGINAL MUSIC AND SOUND
Six tracks composed for this game — soft pads and bells — taking turns between levels with a slow crossfade. Nineteen close, dry sound effects: every flower you add to a chain steps the pitch up a little.

It does now. - The app could freeze on startup: the ads SDK was blocking the game. - Retrying a level and moving to the next one did nothing depending on where you tapped them from. They always work now. - Coming back from Settings while paused returned you to the level intro screen instead of the pause menu. - The watch-ad-to-continue button stayed greyed out if the ad finished loading a moment late.
