Finally, found what I was looking for in a calendar app! Absolutely amazed, ever since Google calendar removed the transparent widget option in material UI I have spent months trying all sorts of calendar apps which have all had limitations or issues but Fl ossify calendar just nails it. A simple, clean, customizable calendar that's syncs Google events, supports widget transparency, fonts size and styles, dynamic scaling, month/day layout and includes all the event colors I need. Perfection!

No ads, works great, no harvesting, sharing and selling your information, easy to export to .ics file for backing up wherever you want, choice of views including a monthly and day combined view which is great. Look, download your .ics file your snooping "big brother is watching you" calendar (desktop site), import it into this one, and you'll never look back. Just like all the other Ossify apps I use, this is once again a nice massive chunky 5 out of 5 stars. Thanks devs and God bless you!

I don't want it to give me notifications but if you don't allow it you can't add the event to your calendar unless you give it permission. Even if I can turn the notifications off, I don't want the app to ask permission for it. Also, the instructions are in broken english

It's showing the year 2025 holiday in 2026. Reiki festival was celebrated on 9 august in 2025, and it is still showing the same date in 2026 instead of 28 August dates.

Nice calendar. I need a calendar that can repeat events biweekly, biweekly, bimonthly, trimonthly, etc. Being able to repeat an event by a certain amount of days, weeks, months, years, is a very important feature that's unfortunate lacking in this app. If I need an event to be repeated every 2 or 3 days, weeks, months, or years, I need to have that feature available to me.

The widget is simply unusable, the font inside it's gigantic and also has no option to show a simple list with just name and next occurrence (instead of full-fledged calendar items).
