I'm here probably like a lot of Xperia users, I didn't realize Sony had retired the built-in Album app (my last Xperia was the 2021 Xperia PRO-I) so it was a total gut punch to start up my new Xperia 1 VIII to find it didn't have or even support the Album app. Then I was directed to Ossify Gallery. It's 99% there! Only a couple of visual things I'm missing, but as far as the mechanics go, it's a perfect replacement.

So nice app, Only feature I need in extra is post EIS like google photos. If possible, i request you to release a dedicated video editor app. Features needed:universal timeline, luts import and make custom luts, highly customizable export settings, lower the resolution preview while editing and apply all changes to final out without original resolution drop, curve based speed ramp with presets, ability to add audio+photo+text+video as layers+add subtitles.

Very good and minimalist viewer app. There is one thing missing though, the ability to set avif image to phone wallpaper. There is issue when setting avif as phone wallpaper it will show blank screen. Seems like it doesn't support setting wallpaper for avif file yet.

What is the point in custom arranging folders if the stupid app just re-sorts them anyway it wants? I tried sorting custom, pins, AI help, what a waste of time!

There were around 400 videos that I had kept hidden using the hidden feature. Today I was going to transfer all the videos and photos from the gallery, and I went to unhide it. Suddenly the app glitched and deleted all the files. I couldn't even recover anything using the recovery tools. Unreliable app. Do not recommend.

Unable to crop images now, comes up with java error, reported issue, never heard anything back, great app, privacy focused, but can't crop an image.
