I never leave reviews but this app is so good. I'm a singer, and I record thousands of voice memos every year. This year I decided I want to be more data privacy conscious. After looking for too long, I found this app. It exceeded my expectations, not only in privacy but in audio quality. I've tried them all. This is the one, try it out. The only note I have is that I would like to be able to change the default file name by index, right now it's the date.

Does not work on Pixel 8 phone... asks every time when to save recordings, and then doesn't record at all

Update removed the only feature I was using this app for: "Removed unnecessary `Audio source` preference". No, it was not unnecessary.

Great idea and I assume it is recording by the size of the recording listed. However when you click on the player it lists the different days and times with file size but won't play back the recording so basically taking up memory for nothing you can access. Needs work. Even downloaded a mp4a player same issue has for size but when you play it has as 0.00 minutes recorded but a large file size. Will update review if I can find a way to head the recordings.

Would be great to record customer service representatives. This app records phone ringing and when they answer. It stops recording. Doesn't record everything. Would be great to not have to have two phones on top of each other to record a phone call. I can't get it to do voice transcribing of recordings. Not able to review what is recorded prior to saving it. Instead, you have to save recording then listen to see if it's what you want. What's wrong with doing instant playback like Samsung?
