Thank you SO much for creating an alternative to google messages. My only reason for not leaving 5 stars is that there is not a great search function. Would love to be able to search inside message threads instead of all messages from all time. Also wish there was a way to just look at media sent between a specific person.

Works great as promised and intended however faced 2 minor issues - sometimes the deleted messages do not go away and appear again, messages which are already read appear unread even if you read multiple times

If you need to text this app is for you. People are crying because they can't send their ugly fur baby pics over the app that no one wants to see anyway. My pictures work fine. Good app.

Clean and easy to migrate, some limits. No GIF integration is a bummer, but the biggest issue is trying to import group texts. If they are in RCS, you can only bring them in as "read only." There is no work around that doesn't involve creating a new group chat or keeping whatever RCS messenger you had. Not Ossify's fault Google is holding onto RCS strictly, but it still makes it painful.

Ossify is a clunky ol' thing. "Press to retry" doesn't work because it forwards the message to the very person you'd intended to send it to in the first place. Then it copies that forwarded line to the next unrelated person you later correspond with. Imagine the red faces when someone receives an unintended forward! There are plenty of issues. Unable to delete old texts now. The app locks up the phone. It's a good try, but could use a heap of streamlining.

Works sometimes. Im 1 of the millions of users DROPPED unceremoniously by effing samsung...won't be getting samsung phone ever again! Ossify is good when it works, but sadly almost every day I get error messages, especially for group texts with more than 1 person (so those family group texts or close friend group texts, FORGET ABOUT IT!), & also when sending pics. Sometimes it works & other times not. Seen replies from creator to change the settings. Did that. doesn't work! Lame! Do better!

How many people send texts only? Not many. So unfortunately, Messenger is not usable without MMS at this stage.
