★★★★★ True it's not able to connect to your Wi-Fi router, but it does have good functionality. Connected direct through Wi-Fi the first time for firmware update, Bluetooth from then on. Phone wants to connect to Wi-Fi router, so it drops connection to Wi-Fi fan unless you connect through Bluetooth. The responsiveness to the app is immediate, and the temperature and humidity readings seem on point. Nice to have control over settings while laying in my bed as opposed to climbing into the attic to adjust.

★★☆☆☆ This is not Wi-Fi vent and misuse terminology, this fan should not call Wi-Fi vent. It's really hard to get this fan working due to wrong description, you need to disconnect your phone from your regular Wi-Fi and connect to vent Wi-Fi which is totally wrong. I wouldn't have bought this fan of you would have known this. The worst part it's Wi-Fi technology is not even good, it's keep on disconnecting and really hard to get fan working to maintain temperature in attic, gaf needs to help me!

★★☆☆☆ This is not a Wi-Fi vent. It just uses Wi-Fi technology to connect to your phone to turn the fan on or off, it cannot connect to your Wi-Fi network like other devices advertised as Wi-Fi capable. No advance features in the app whatsoever and no remote control. If you get any other fan and connect it to any smart home thermostat, you will be able to control it from anywhere with real programming features.
