My new hyperperformance 24k btu minisplit won't connect to Wi-Fi because there is an "usb thumb drive" transceiver device that must first be plugged into the indoor unit. The receptacle is an usb socket cable hidden underneath a small access plate. There is no reset button on the indoor unit. Powering off and on the unit at the breaker, then pressing the remote display button 6 times places the minisplit into pairing mode. Then the app detects it.

I'd like to see an accessory to remote the temperature sensor in the unit which is near the ceiling, I live near the floor! In heat, it goes into defrost mode to often especially when outside temperatures get below freezing.

Please add partly cloudy and mostly cloudy to your weather scenes, so I can have it run when party cloudy also. I have it set to run 100% off my solar so partly cloudy and sunny is the only time to automatically turn it on. The solar community would love this. I also think there should be an antifreeze/vacation mode. You could then set heat lower than 61 to say 35 or 40 degrees to save money, but prevent pipes from freezing. Where are app directions? GEN mode? LV1, LV2, LV3?, 8 deg heat?

What is up with all the permissions this app needs! Are you people spying on us? I advise anyone that's going to download this app to look at the permissions required to use this app! The app that I use for my bank isn't asking for as many permissions as this app does!

Man, was I disappointed with this app. The temp is always incorrect by ~10°. It functions for turning unit on/off up/down etc. but info displayed is useless. Why doesn't it match what wall unit says? It's currently 68° in this room, wall unit says 68°, app says 78°. What does, "up and down the wind" mean? What does "temperature correction" mean? What does "electric auxiliary heating mean?" What is "Scene?" ugh! Why are there no instructions? Why does it say "Sunny" @11pm??

No instructions on what the different app settings are, and how to use them. For example, how does "anti-mildew" work? Do I leave it on at all times? An in-app manual would be helpful.

Not usable. Instructions to pair Device do not mach device I have a pioneer mini split. There is no rest button or indicator cycling the power did nothing.
