The app is fine, easy to use, but the GHDVR98W unit are high-end rubbish, I am stuck with 2 of these units that both have the same faults once hard-wired as featured for parking mode. They need to constantly switch off and on again, card format and hard reset constantly, or they just stop working. The importer, retailers and customer support are in denial, so you are stuck with your poor choice.

The camera seems to work fine and is only let down by the poor quality of this app. You can't delete individual clips, but the most concerning aspect is that the developers haven't even tested that functionality works. Several users including myself get unknown error 1001 when trying to view clips. The only way to view them is to download them. I was going to purchase another Gator cam for my partner but will now look at other cameras.

The recent update just messed up an app that used to work fine. They plainly removed basic video quality settings like switching between 720p and 1080p. That's not just a mistake, but it's a huge step backward that makes this app way less useful. If you've got a Gator dashcam, do yourself a favor and don't bother with this app. Go download the Verdure dash cam app instead. It's so much better, and it actually gives you a substantial amount of settings to play with for the dashcam.
