With the shortage of help in stores today, this has come in extremely handy. You can use the app on your phone to scan as you go. Scan every item that goes into your cart. When you're ready to check out, you can go to any of the self check out registers or the Scan, Pay, Go station and scan the barcode on the screen, and it'll pull your order up from the phone or handheld device (which you need a physical GEAC card to scan, and it'll release a handheld scanner if not using your phone)

I work at giant eagle in Dover Ohio, and we are learning how to use the system. Although you can't look up your card on it, it is easy to use once you learn how to. Audits are conducted for 1 out of 10 people and for people who have a giant eagle card. While some may say this is annoying and doesn't make things quicker, it is for us to check for shoplifting.

The definition of "junk". It can't connect to the Giant Eagle Wi-Fi in the store (tried two stores), and it will not accept my Giant Eagle card (tried two cards). Customer Service in the store is baffled also. I had an open case with support for over a month. They called me, but when I was not available. They did not try to call during a time when I could work with them. Played phone tag a few times. The last call I received from support was the old "cannot reproduce the problem" excuse. Bottom line the app doesn't work and support doesn't work with the customers.

Scan Pay & Go worked flawlessly on my Samsung S7. I recently upgraded to an S21 and the app cannot connect to in store Wi-Fi.
