Awesome companion for any home charging EV. Monitor and control your charging, direct from your phone. Plumb in your local electricity rates and know exactly how much each charge costs. Program the charging to coincide with your cheaper, off-peak rates. You can also turn off your charger when you're away from your house. 👍👍 Review edit. Downgraded to 4 stars. Local utility company has discount rates all weekend as well. The app lacks the ability to add a "weekend rate" to the programming.

I'm not sure why such bad reviews. This app works reasonably well for me, even with ToD rate charging. My only issue is that I can't figure out how to add holidays to me charging schedule. I can add the rates for the holidays, but it won't affect the schedule.

Works reliably and has all the basic options required for a charging station. Would be nice to have more real time stats and graphs though, rather than based just on charging sessions. Despite other reviews, it is indeed capable of multiple rates based on time of day. For those that say cost calculation is incorrect, it is likely that you put the decimal point in the wrong spot. The rates are based on dollar amount confirmation. For example 9.5 cents/kwh would be configured in the app as 0.095.

Scheduling has never worked once for me. Either it ignores the schedule and starts charging immediately or it doesn't charge at all when the scheduled time trigger is reached.

Now there's a nasty bug where it's failing to display the correct kWh for each charging session. I got a notification for charging complete that said 15.14 kWh, but when I look at that same session in the history, it claims 4.21 kWh instead. For a 3-hour charge at roughly 5.3 kW, there's no way only 4.21 kWh was used. I like the charger, but I just keep finding new problems with this app. It's probably time to find a different way to track my energy use and uninstall this app.

Not compatible with Grizzle chargers made before 6/2023. Stuck with the old charge lab app that is essentially useless. I bought this charger with the understanding that a better app was being developed. Not very happy.
