Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for one of our dogs. I got a policy when she was a few months old, and everyone laughed at the idea of insurance for my dog. It was the best financial decision I have ever made. Uploading for a claim is insanely easy via the app. If all the paperwork is in order for your pet, getting reimbursement is fast. For our dogs last surgery, we had payment from Healthy Paws before the charge was even finalized on our credit card! Now that is fast and easy!!

My dog's 11 (I've been with Healthy Paws since he was 2) and instead of supporting me, they raised my monthly premium to $158 per month with a 70% reimbursement. They increased my monthly premium by $40 and reduced my reimbursement from 90% to 70% with a freaking $500 deductible. I'm on a fixed income and an eighth of my total income is spent on this, not counting the deductible and 20% more I have to pay. Look elsewhere and don't trust those who truly don't care about anything other than money.

THEY USE TO BE GREAT TILL THEY CHANGED POLICY!! I WON'T RECOMMEND THEM ANYMORE!! I have them for about 10 years never have an issue with my claims it was easy and quickly well now I did in my 3 years old shih tzu the 2nd claim on his life !they started asking for medical records when he was a puppy than it wasn't good enough so give them info for vet than all that is being a month back a forth to deny the claim for some reason NOW THEY ANSWER BUT DIDN'T READ EVERYTHING IS GET REPORTS BUT PAY IT

You're much better off setting money aside than paying the monthly premiums. The premiums start low, but before you know it, your $50/month will become $380/month. Initially, it seemed worth it for "just in case," but to this day, we've lost more money than we have saved. The premiums kept going up, and after talking to many other customers, I've learned that this company has raised many people's premiums to absurd numbers. $381/month for 1 dog, that's over $4,000 a year.
