Fantastic app that has been essential in our search for auroras. Map shows cloud cover, data from instruments helps set potential sighting expectations and the community photos help locate them in real time. Allow notifications for this app and you will spot one!

Good App Used this app on our second trip to Iceland after not seeing the Aurora on the first trip. The app let us see other people's photos taken nearby and see the sightings get nearer to us. When we went outside the hotel we were able to see the Aurora for about an hour. This app is the best and most informative of the many apps I have used, and I have just re-installed it for my next trip to Iceland next week.

I don't get it. Just shows a dash (no value) for both 'chance now' and 'aurora strength' all the time. Am I supposed to buy the pro version just to see these values? I've cleared cache, reinstalled, even made a new account but same. I have all permissions on.

I cannot get past screen prompting me to open an account. L am not interested in that feature. Really was hoping for a paid version in order to avoid the account thing, of course developers need to be paid somehow. Update: I went ahead and did the account anyway, but soon uninstalled the app as it was sending constant notifications of auroras being viewed alaska, even though I set my location for Southeast Michigan.

Why in the frinkin world would you need an account with email for an Aurora app, show me ads fine, but all my details? Seriously?
