Q: Why will the HipServ mobile application not install? It says it is incompatible! A: HipServ Android application requires Adobe Air and Android 2.2 or above in order to run it.
Q: Why will a xxx format video file not play on my phone??? A: HipServ does not convert or render your video files. In other words, it is not a video player. It simply uses the video players installed on your phone to play your files. If your phone does not support that format of video, you may need to convert it on the computer, or download a 3rd party player that supports the file. ---------------------------------------------------------

Seagate GoFlex Home Installed the seagate version and had seen on the bottom of the screen that the software was driven by hipserv. Checked the website and found there was a version for android downloaded it and have had no problems as this software allows you to choose your player and now I can play all, I think of my files. Would recommend this software.

Does not work on galaxy s5 This app does not work on the galaxy s5. It just continually goes to the internet hipserv error screen, http://testsupport.hipserv2.hipserv.com/en/error.html, and does not allow you to access your drives. Please fix this issue ASAP as this will be a problem for many users soon.
