This CD focuses on the techniques of relaxation. It eliminates tension and replaces it with calm and confidence. The hypnosis contained on this CD teaches your body to develop it’s own natural pain management system. Each deeper breath, while in labor, helps you feel less and less pain.
This hypnosis session compliments the physiological process of giving birth and makes your body work for you on the day of your delivery. It helps your unconscious mind dispel the belief that child birth is painful.
Using hypnosis during the birthing process can result in a natural labor. It does not eliminate your desire to use medication but greatly reduces the chances.
I suggest you listen to your CD as often as you would like but after 33 weeks of pregnancy at least three times a week until the birth of your child.

Best purchase I've ever made in my life! In my view, this session is an essential buy for every pregnant lady. My first labour was incredibly difficult, long and ended with my boy being hauled rather than pushed out. I listened to Kym Tolsen's hypnobirthing session once a day in the weeks leading up to my second labour and birth. I reached 10cms with little more than a 'bit of an ache', the birth was quick, smooth and nothing short of perfect. I am not a person who bears pain well and I say with genuine honesty that just before I reached full dilation, I was wandering down a hospital corridor to ask 'if I could have a couple of paracetamol when you're ready please?' I can't hear it! I adore kym's free sleep hypnosis and was so excited when I saw the birthing one. I couldn't hear it at all. The notes say listen with headphones. Greaaaaaat. I'm not buying headphones to listen to an app. So disappointed.

Where's the volume control? I just purchased it and I can't hear it at all, from a UX prospective it's missing the volume control, contact us/help section. Also, there's only 1 session to listen to without any indication to know how long it is and the ability to be able to go back and listen to a specific section which you may desire. This app should give a pregnant women the ability to listen without headphones! Great content, shame on the app design from a user experience and especially for the price charged to download it 👎😑
