★★★★★ Was worried after reviews but worked straight away Ready the reviews after purchasing the kettle and got worried thinking I had made a big mistake, I have a samsung phone and tablet. However It worked straight away and have no issues. Only 4 star as the reviews says iPhone app is customisable and if true can't see why it's not been done on android.

★★☆☆☆ Very Very Difficult to get to work I am IT manager and programmer and this is a terrible app to get to work - When it connects its OK but certainly not user friendly to get to work. Constantly fails to establish connection. - Spent hours getting devices connected. Even when the kettle works with another device. To make it far worse there is no manual mode of telling it the ip address - if only they added a setting which let you specify the ipaddress which the kettle was using, then I would be happy but as it is Aghh. The kettle does not support the better and newer 802.1x authentication/security (at least the software doesn't). As all my mobile devices use this to allow fast roaming between access points in the house the kettle has to be on a different SSID which means with the method they use to establish a connection the mobile device can't find the kettle if its on a different SSID on the same Access point. So as the Lounge and Kitchen typically use the same Access point - can never use it to from the lounge. Please sort this out to make it usable

★★☆☆☆ Have decided that to use this kettle properly you need to have an iPhone, support for Android is poor compared to the features you can use on iOs app.

★★☆☆☆ Worst app ever. Refuses to connect to iKettle during setup, even when my phone is connected to the iKettle WiFi network. £100 kettle = useless brick. Avoid at all costs.
