Works well and gives a high degree of control. Doesn't allow hot water temperature to be varied despite internet searches saying it does. Doesn't seem to have vacation mode mentioned in description unless this is done by setting up an Event. Note it must be connected via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. See N Morris' review. However, I forced 2.4GHz by putting a MAC address filter on my router specifying 2.4GHz only for the Easy Control. This means you don't have to set up a separate network.

Poor app for such an expensive system. Constantly facing connectivity issues after the last update. Edit: the connectivity issues were later fixed. The app is not that bad actually but again, for such an expensive system I would expect more. For example, there's no way to turn off the TRVs quickly, through a voice command, it at least a single click button. You need to go to each room and scroll to the lowest temperature one by one. I would like to have some presets available, like 5C & 25C.

For those of you having a problem connecting to it over wireless, you need to make sure it's NOT connected to a 5Ghz network. I have created a separate 2.4Ghz network called Bosch, and it works perfectly fine (as long as there is no maintenance or updates going on). A while back I had an absolute nightmare connecting my app to the thermostat and I discovered that it was connected to my main 5Ghz network! Could you please add "liters" to the energy part of the app as I use LPG!

I have hard-wired mine to the boiler, it only uses 2 wires, so you can use the old thermostat wires. It has been nearly 100% reliable. I think the lack of detailed instructions is annoying though.

It just does not work, so I have to manually control heating all the time. Just rubbish. Do not buy a bosch thermostat

Think twice about getting the Bosch easy control because the app is crucial and flawed. No instructions available. Some functionalities hard to find in the app or to understand. No ability to just turn off heating other than changing all the daily settings or turn off the controller at the wall (which I did when going on holiday-lost all the usage data).

Unstable after the recent version upgrade, not able to connect boiler frequently. Still not allow connecting smart home device such as Amazon Alexa
