Description
Imprivata ID is a secure authentication application that helps improve clinical workflows for medical professionals for electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS), remote network access, and others.
For EPCS, Imprivata ID enables Hands Free Authentication, a breakthrough solution that delivers exceptional speed, security, and convenience for providers while meeting DEA two-factor authentication requirements for EPCS. Instead of typing a manual token code, Hands Free Authentication wirelessly retrieves and verifies a one-time password from the Imprivata ID application on the user’s mobile device, even if it is locked and/or in the user’s pocket, which delivers unparalleled speed and convenience with minimal impact to clinical workflows.
For remote network access, Imprivata ID enables fast, convenient push notifications. Users receive a notification on their mobile phone asking them to verify their identity. The user simply swipes the notification from the lock screen of their device and taps “Approve,” and the second factor of authentication is complete.
Imprivata ID uses Foreground Service for communication between the app and a Bluetooth dongle connected to a Windows PC, as Imprivata ID acts as a key for user authentications in Windows applications when the Android device is in close proximity to the PC.

App works well on phone. Please develop an extension which is compatible with Apple and Android watches, so we don't have to pull out our phones.

It won't work. I had the app on my previous phone that worked fine. It says I need to re enroll if I changed to a new device but there literally isn't an enroll option in the app. I'm extremely annoyed now because I cannot check any of my work stuff on my phone.

Doesn't work. The tokens don't work. The approval/deny function doesn't work.

Seems to turn Bluetooth off and Locks the workstation even when app is opened on my mobile device and is/was connected. I have to relaunch the app in order for it to log back in. No support functionality. Update 5/22: No longer reconnects. Tried reinstalling and enrolled again but could not detect my phone at all. Signed is greyed out. All permissions applied, Bluetooth, location, physical activity, nearby devices, and notifications all applied and leave the app open.

I would have given it 4 stars, but recently it is only giving push notifications about half of the time, so I have to open the app to approve. It also does not seem to work at all with WearOs 3. I used it with Fossil and Mobvoi WearOs devices, and it was great, because I didn't have to even open my phone. I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, and it does not work at all.
